These scholarships are offered to active members of the Emmanuel congregation who are confirmed, voting members for at least two years and have actively participated in church activities such as serving as an usher, worship assistant, or council committee member. Scholarships are intended for students planning to attend Lutheran colleges and universities and will be matched dollar for dollar by the respective institutions, effectively doubling the value of the award. This initiative is part of the Foundation's commitment to fostering education and service among its congregation's youth.
