10am - We invite you to a special worship service as we celebrate 79 years of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The service will be led by Emmanuel’s former Pastor Sandra Dager and will feature a festival Eucharist, incorporating the gentle choral piece, "At the Table of the Lord" by Jay Althouse. This song, with its rich imagery of the Eucharist, will be woven into the beginning of our communion, as the choir and Pastor Dager guide us through this meaningful celebration. Come and join us for this joyous occasion of worship and fellowship!

4pm - Emmanuel Lutheran Friends of Music is hosting an organ recital by Makena James on September 29 at 4pm in the sanctuary. She will be performing pieces by Bach, Louis Vierne, and original compositions.

The Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation is delighted to announce the availability of its annual $1,000 scholarships for the academic year starting in Fall 2024. These scholarships are offered to active members of the Emmanuel congregation who are confirmed, voting members for at least two years and have actively participated in church activities such as serving as an usher, worship assistant, or council committee member. Scholarships are intended for students planning to attend Lutheran colleges and universities and will be matched dollar for dollar by the respective institutions, effectively doubling the value of the award. This initiative is part of the Foundation's commitment to fostering education and service among its congregation's youth. Application Process: Interested applicants should contact John Clauss, Treasurer, at jclaussjr@aol.com for scholarship applications. Forms are also available on the Emmanuel website and at the reception desk in the Administration Building of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Completed applications must be submitted to the Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation by June 15, 2024. It is crucial to submit applications by this date as many educational institutions close their scholarship application processes in July. About the Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation: The Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation thrives through the generous donations it receives, which are prudently invested and prayerfully dispersed to support the ministries of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. A gift to the foundation is considered "The gift that keeps on giving," aiding in the continuous support and development of our church community and its members. For further information or to apply, please contact John Clauss at the email provided above. Release Date: Effective immediately through June 15, 2024. Application Form can be found here
